ADMISSION NOTICE

M. PHIL PROGRAM [SPRING 2018]

Applications are invited on prescribed admission forms for M. Phil Program (Spring Semester 2018) in the following disciplines:

1. Anatomy

2. Biochemistry

3. Haematology

4. Histopathology

5. Molecular Biology & Genetics

6. Microbiology

7. Physiology

M Phil

Program Eligibility

1. MBBS/BDS degree recognized by PMDC in relevant discipline with cumulative lst division or a CGPA of 2.5 on the scale of 4.00 from HEC recognized university/degree awarding institution.

2. For Biochemistry, BS (four years} in Biochemistry/MSC Biochemistry/BS (four years) MLT.

3. For Molecular Biology & Genetics, BS (four years} in Biological Sciences/ M.Sc. in Biological Sciences.

4. For admission in Microbiology, candidates holding BS (four years) in Microbiology /M.Sc Microbiology are also eligible o apply.

Note:

1. Application on prescribed form available on KMU website www.kmu.edu.pk. Complete application form along with recent passport size photograph, attested copies of educational testimonials (degrees/certificates & DMCs), experience certificates (from government/semi government/ autonomous bodies) and copy of Computerized National Identity Card along with a Bank receipt of Rs.2500/- (application processing fee) non- refundable, duly deposited in (Account No.14SO-8, National Bank of Pakistan, Hayatabad Township Br:(1759) Peshawar) in favor of Khyber Medical University, Peshawar on or before due date.

2. Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.

3. In-service candidates shall apply through proper channel.

4. Application form should be submitted on due date to the office of the Director KMU-IBMS, Academic Block, Ground Floor, Phase-V, Hayatabad, Peshawar.
