Online University Admission Test (UAT) forms will be available from December 05, 2017
Last date for submission of test forms to the DASAR office December 22, 2017
UAT will be held on January 06, 2018
Last date for submission of admission form alongwith the required attested documents to concerned Department/Institute on or before January 18, 2018

University Admission Test:
GAT (General) will be conducted for admission in all Master degree programs. GAT (subject) will be conducted for all Ph.D. degree programs.
Required Test Score:
50% score for M.Sc. (H), M.Phil. MS and MBA (1.5) degree programs
60% score for all PhD degree programs

Procedure for Apply:
Candidates shall apply online for the Admission Test on the University website www.aup.edu.pk or direct access link http://admission.aup.edu.pk/
Candidates shall apply separately for each discipline.
Copy of the admission test form along with bank receipt of Rs. 1500/- (Non-Refundable) as Admission Test fee to be deposited in AC# 148700074507-01, shall be submitted to the DASAR office on or before December 22, 2017 during the office hours.
The candidate who secures the qualifying test score shall deposit Admission Processing Fee of Rs. 1200/- (Non-Refundable)in the above account and submit the form along with required documents and bank receipt to the concerned Department/Institute on or before January 18, 2017during the office hours.
Candidates applying for more than one discipline, must fill and submit separate form alongwith receipt of Rs.600/- (Non-Refundable) for each additional discipline.
All those candidates whose results are awaited, can also apply for admission test only, however, provisional certificate/degree must be submitted for admission on or before the interview date.

Only those candidates, who have submitted the University Admission Test form to the DASAR office within the due date will be allowed to sit in the examination.No forms will be entertained after the due date.
General Eligibility
PhD: Minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 (under semester system) or 1st division under annual system (with required course work) from HEC recognized University.
M.Sc.(H), MS, M.Phil., MBA: Minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00 (under semester system) or 2nd division with 56% marks under Annual System from HEC recognized Universities/ institutes (Deficiency courses will be given where necessary).
Note:
Admission shall not be granted to any candidate having 3rd division in academic career.
Specific Eligibility
PhD
Applicants possessing M.Sc. (Hons) Agri. in the relevant field of study. (Deficiency courses of undergraduate level will be given where necessary) except Rural Development and Extension Education & Communication.
Rural Development and Agric. Extension & Communication:
Applicants with M. Sc. (Hons) degree in any field of Agriculture (only) can apply. (Deficiency courses of undergraduate level will be given where necessary)
M.Phil
• Biotechnology & Genetics Engineering:
B.Sc. (Hons) Agri. / Animal Husbandry, Bachelor of Biotechnology, M.Sc. Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Forestry, DVM, MBBS/BDS. (Deficiency courses of undergraduate level will be given where necessary)

• Statistics:
Four years Bachelor or MA/M.Sc. degree from HEC recognized University/Institute in the relevant. (Deficiency courses of undergraduate level will be given where necessary)

• Theriogenology and Pathology:
B.Sc. (H) Animal Husbandry, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or MBBS
MS
• Management Science:
Four Years BBA (Hons)/B.Com (Hons) or MBA, M.Com, MPA, MA Economics (with 66 Credit Hours Course work)

• Computer Science:
Four years BS (CS), MCS, M. Sc. (CS)

• Information Technology:
Four years BS (IT)/BS (SE), MIT, M. Sc. (CS)
M.Sc. (H)
Applicants possessing minimum four years B.Sc. (H) Agric./Animal Husbandry/DVM (HEC recognized ) degree in the relevant field of study with minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00 (under semester system) or 2nd division with 56% marks under Annual System from HEC recognized Universities/Institutes.
MBA
• MBA (1.5):
BBA (4years), B.Com (4years), MBA (16years), M.Com, ACMA, ACA and other relevant equivalent qualification with minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00 (under semester system) or 2nd division with 56% marks under Annual System from HEC recognized Universities/Institutes.
General Instructions:
Migration Certificate must be submitted within one month after admission.
In-Services Applicants must apply for admission through proper channel along with No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Leave certificate initially for two semesters (for Master programs) and four semesters (for PhD programs must be provided within one month of admission, failing which, admission of the candidate shall cease automatically.
University teacher, who are not sponsored by the HEC or any other agency, requires leave as a pre-condition are exempted from provision of leave certificate).
All those applicants, whose results are awaited OR not in possession of valid degree on closing date are not eligible for admission.
Incomplete forms and those received after the due date will NOT be entertained.

Admission Notice 2017 For AMK Campus, Mardan
Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission to B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, BBA (Hons) & BS (CS) degree programs on open merit and Self-Sustaining Basis/Non subsidized rates in Amir Muhammad Khan Campus Mardan, The University of Agriculture, Peshawar.
Admission forms for B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, BBA (Hons) & BS (CS) degree programs are available in the Assistant Director Teaching office through depositing Rs.1000/- (Non Refundable) in Bank Account No.04417900534203 HBL Par Hoti Branch Mardan.
Candidates applying for multiple categories/reserved seats must fill separate form and deposit Rs.500/- (Non-Refundable) for each discipline.
Hardcopy, of application complete in all respect with original bank receipt must reach on or before December 23, 2016 to Assistant Director Teaching, AMK Campus, Mardan.
Merit for admission to Bachelor Degree Programs shall be determined on the basis of combined percentage of marks obtained in SSC (40% weight) & HSSC or equivalent (60% weight).
Candidates who have attained or shall attain the age of 25 years on the last date of the submission of application forms shall not be eligible for admission to Bachelor degree programs.
Admission will be granted on merit and availability of seats in each discipline.

F.Sc. Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering with at least 45% marks.
Self-Sustainable Degree Programs
BBA (Hons)
F.Sc./D.Com/DBA/DAE/I.Com/ICS or F.A. with any one of these subjects: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science & Economics with at least 45% marks.
BS (CS)
F.Sc. or Intermediate in Gen. Science/ Computer Science/DAE/ F.A with subject of Computer Science or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
