Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has embarked upon an ambifious jouney to eliminate load shedding from the province by way of developing power plants on fast track basis. Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) is responsible to lead this initiative of the Government, PEDO seeks highly motivated experienced professionals for the mentioned positions:

Project Director

Mini Micro Hpp: Access to Energy construction of MHP on Streams & canals, Salary Range: Rs.377,000-500,000 pm. Upper age limit 65 years.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university with at least 15 years Experience in Engineering/Project Management and 03 years senior management experience of supervising Hydro Power projects. Candidate must have strong leadership credentials, have strong knowledge on preparation of TORs for selection of Consultants/ contractors, Preparation of Tender Documents, Evaluation of Bids Technical / Financial , Construction & Project Management, Liaison with various Govt. Agencies, Exposure of modem PM tools & techniques, Monitoring & Progress reporting, implementation & construction supervision, lead enforcement of applicable standards of financial management and quality specifications of the project.

O&M Advisor

Salary Range: Rs 377,000-500,000 Pm. Upper Age Limit 65 years

Qualification:

Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university with at least 15 years Experience in Operations & Maintenance of Hydro Power Plants. Candidate with post graduate qualification in the relevant field will be given preference. Candidate must have strong frip on the design aspects of E&M equipment of Hydro Power Plants, ability to monitor the performance of O&M operators, compefence to evaluate performance of O&M team and build capacity of O&M teams. Ability to provide expert advice on all matters relating E&M equipment, fabrication,installation and performance relevant to Hyrdo Power Plants.

III. Project Director is project based position and will stand automatically abolished upon the completion to the project.
IV. Appointment will be on contract basis for a period of one year, which may be extended on satisfactory performance and requirement.

VI. Salary may be negotiable for candidates having outstanding and relevant professional experience.
VII. In case of unsatisfactory performance, services can be terminated by the employer with one month notice.
