Objective
The Deputy Director Network role is to ensure the stability
and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services.
This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks
(LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the
Deputy Director Network will participate with the installation, monitoring,
maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and
communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network
hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide
end user training.
Roles, Duties and
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with
Directorates to assess near and long-term network capacity needs.
2. Create and maintain
documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping,
processes, and service records.
3. Develop, implement and
maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
4. Establishes networking
environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation;
defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
5. Maximizes network
performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and
outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network
optimization.
6. Secures network system by
establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
9. Accomplishes information
systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
10.
Reporting network
operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects.
11.
Develop RFPs, ToRs and
Project Proposal for new projects and consultants.

Developmentreporting to the Director ICT, the Deputy DirectorDatabase and
Software Development will contribute to the planning and delivery of ICT
Systems. The Deputy Director must demonstrate knowledge of critical thinking,
and problem solving. Proficiency in open source development tools and
object-oriented technologies is required. Roles,

Objective
Deputy Director Communications reporting
to the Director Legal, Tax Policy and Research, the Deputy Director
Communication will contribute to the planning and delivery of external and
internal communications activities. The incumbent will carve out new pathways
and relationships to share Perimeter messaging and content among diverse
audiences, through engaging national and international media, online and
cultural influencers, third-party organizations, as well as existing
stakeholders and key partners.
Roles, Duties and Responsibilities
1.
Developing communication plans and strategies appealing to the taxpayers
in terms of substance, form, extension and sensitivity and produce contents for
the communication products;
2.
Design and conduct dialogue sessions with taxpayer groups (chambers, associations
and withholding agents etc.);
3.
Media campaign using updated techniques and available modes for wider
connectivity with multiple stakeholders;
4.
Managing email awareness and sensitization system and maintaining the
organization’s stakeholders’ database;
5.
Develop and finalize educational and awareness materials for different
media/ target audience including Infotainment scripts and key messages, TV/
radio/FM spots, illustrative leaflets, posters, and other materials;
6.
Managing KPRA’s social media, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and
YouTube accounts;
7.
Designing print collateral, including brochures, short publications, and
event invitations and signage;
8.
Integrating/cross-promoting all of KPRA’s communications;
9.
Working with vendors relating to print and electronic media, including
website developers, graphic designers and print companies;
10.
Supporting KPRA’s basic media relations, including writing press releases
and statements, maintaining media lists, and collecting media mentions;
11.
Providing support to Media Relations consultants contracted for special
promotions;
12.
Measuring and evaluating KPRA’s online and print communications and media
relations;
13.
Editing communications materials written by KPRA staff and ensuring all
communications adhere to the organization’s style guide;
14.
Working with KPRA staff to execute special events, including developing
event communications, promoting the event and taking photographs during the
event;
15.
Create KPRA literature and other forms of communication;
16.
Create awareness, sensitization, marketing and promotional materials,
both print and electronic;
17.
Work with advertisers for timely and useable ad submissions;
18.
Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications;
19.
Design and launch email campaigns;
20.
Plan and deliver taxpayers education courses and materials;
21.
Work with Collectorate and Directorate to determine event budget and
manage expenses to that budget;
22.
Promote products and services through public relations initiatives;
23.
Develop marketing communications campaigns;
24.
Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies,
white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media
content, and speaking proposals;
25.
Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media
contacts and customer references;
26.
Research media coverage and industry trends;
27.
Conduct extensive media outreach;
28.
Prepare briefing materials;
29.
Coordinate workshops, seminars, conferences, trade shows, and press
interviews; and
